Our Story
Welcome to Eloise Candle Co, which is affectionately named after my Frenchie, Eloise. I am so excited you are here—thank you for supporting our small business! I am Jackie, the owner. We are located in North Carolina and do all our production in our at-home candle studio. My boyfriend Matt (who lends his handyman skills and muscles to the business) is stationed at Camp Lejeune.
I am so excited about growing a business and sharing my love of candles with you. You could ask any of my friends and they would tell you that one of my favorite things in the world is a good candle. Bad day? Light a candle, grab a book and a cozy blanket, and unwind. Good day? Celebrate by doing the same.
After a long day, I want you to get home and light one of our candles and feel at home. When you face a tough time, I want you to light one of our candles and realize there is always light in the darkness. When you are celebrating your favorite seasons of life, I want you to light one of our candles and feel that we are celebrating you, too (because we are!)
And I also wanted to make sure to offer these things by providing high-quality candles that were hand-poured with the best ingredients that are safe for you, your family, and the world around you.

Our Candles
All of our candles are free of phthalates, petroleum, parabens, and sulfates.
Wax
We use a blend of soy and beeswax for each of our candles. The soy wax comes from 100% American grown soy beans, meaning it is completely natural and a renewable source of energy (and it helps American farmers!) Though soy remains the primary wax in our blend, the addition of beeswax reduces the risk of frosting or bumpy tops, which is a quality of all soy wax candles.
Wicks
All of the wicks we use in our candles are all-natural, ring-spun cotton and do not contain zinc, lead, or any other metals. Our wicks are coated in 100% natural wax to increase rigidity.
Fragrance Oils
The fragrances we use are are 100% phthalate free and non-toxic. Many of the fragrances we use are considered “Clean Scents”, meaning they do not contain materials with associated health concerns, including those listed on California’s Prop 65 list. The “Clean Scents” oils are also free of carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins.
Vessels
We currently offer glass and ceramic vessels. If you are looking for a vessel in a different material, please reach out to us and we will work with you.
Personalization
In the future, we hope to create a space to encourage creativity. It is our plan to allow for candle customization where you can choose your own candle vessel, scent, and personalized label. We do have other scents and vessels not readily available online that we can work with. And, we are always open to trying something new!
